Our work seeks to critically engage with how global imaginaries are constructed—particularly from postcolonial and decolonial perspectives—and to understand the cultural and communicative dynamics between the Global North and South.
Director of Studia Africana, a peer-reviewed academic journal focused on African Studies, jointly published by the University of Barcelona and the University of Girona.
I am the coordinator of FICAC, Festival Itinerant de Cinemes Africans de Catalunya—a pioneering initiative in Catalonia that brings African cinema to different towns and cities across Catalonia, aiming to promote diverse narratives and audiovisual cultures from the African continent.
I am a regular contributor to different media outlets, offering analysis on issues related to media, international politics, and Africa.
