Impactful, Inclusive, Integrated Higher Education in Eastern Africa (3is) is an Erasmus+ KA2 project aiming to strengthen HEIs in Somalia, Ethiopia and Kenya, focusing on internationalization, inclusiveness, innovation, academic excellence, community outreach & regional integration.
3is aims to strengthen Higher Education Institutions in remote Somalia, Ethiopia, and Kenya regions through an innovative capacity-building approach. The project empowers participating African universities to design impactful policy instruments and action plans, focusing on internationalization, inclusiveness, educational innovations, academic excellence, community and industry outreach, and regional integration.
3is will last 24 months, starting from December 2023 and it’s a Capacity Building for Higher Education (CBHE) project under the Key Action 2 of the Erasmus+ programme, funded by the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA).
